Tepoztlan, Mexico

This watercolor captures a quiet street in Tepoztlan, where tiled steps and arched doorways open into the warmth of stone walls. On one of our frequent trips to Mexico, we visited the town of Tepoztlan, where I saw this beautiful old stone building and a resident sitting in the front. The painting blends architectural detail with gentle color, bringing both stillness and character to a room that values story and place; brightening with warmth, color, and a touch of wanderlust.
