Our Barn in Columbiana County

A pale winter sky settles over a quiet field, where a yellow barn stands softly against the snow-covered landscape. The structure feels both simple and enduring, its color gently breaking through the cool tones of the season. This watercolor reflects the barn that stood on our ten acres near Columbiana, Ohio, where we lived for 17 years. Built in the early 1900s, it was the main building on the property, though rarely used, and here it rests in winter, surrounded by stillness, with drifting snow adding to its quiet presence and sense of time.
