West Creek Reservation

Through layered watercolor tones, a gentle creek winds its way through trees, with light flickering across its surface. The high footbridge over a creek at the West Creek Reservation near Cleveland is fairly accurately painted, but the remainder of the picture is purely from my imagination. I wanted more water, greenery, and trees, and this is the result. The painting offers a quiet presence, whether placed in a reading nook, a guest room, or a spot where calm is welcome.
