An original watercolor captures the quiet presence of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, its tall steeple rising above the surrounding neighborhood along Cleveland’s west side. The warm brick tones and delicate winter branches frame the structure with a sense of stillness, reflecting both its architectural strength and its place within the community. Trinity Lutheran Church, built in 1853, is home to the world-famous Beckerath Organ, and all are welcome to “Music Near the Market” each Wednesday at noon to hear Bob Myers play this one-of-a-kind German organ. This is my version of the view from Lorain Avenue and West 28th Street, shaped by observation and memory, and grounded in the character of Cleveland’s historic landmarks and everyday streets.
