Clark Avenue and Scranton Street – Cleveland: Carnegie Library and Saint Michael the Arch Angel Church

This architectural watercolor records the historic lines of Cleveland landmarks, blending structure with memory. This early stone library and incredibly beautiful old stone church with a soaring tower are located in the Tremont section of Cleveland.  The old church is black from years of steel mill smoke, and the copper ornamentation has turned a beautiful green with age. It adds a sense of place to homes or spaces that honor heritage and story.
