Matthew, Brewmaster

This watercolor portrait grew out of Chuck’s painting group, which often meets in one of the meeting rooms at Forest City Brewery, with prints available in 11" x 14" or 18" x 24" and the original painting available when listed. Matthew, the brewery’s congenial brewmaster, kindly allowed Chuck to paint his picture, making the piece both a gesture of appreciation and a glimpse into the personality behind the craft. Relaxed and full of character, the portrait reflects Cleveland’s creative community, local brewery culture, and the informal connections that often inspire Chuck’s work.
